This isn't Davey's fault

The guy who shopped for the groceries gave him a can of spam

Not Rizzo's fault that Storen is hurt. The best option is Stanmen for now. How many more wild pitches and blown saves will it take for him to see this?!

Can't believe I wasted all night for that crap.

Exactly.  2 nights in a row I will not be able to sleep.  I hate sports right now.

fp shut up with the "beaten with your best pitch" bullcrap.  he was crap that whole inning.  he was lucky to get 2 outs.  he should not be a closer.  stammen should have been in there in the first place.

Ramos called for that HR pitch down and in and he left it way up and in Barajas's wheelhouse

When does Lidge come back? (I assume he was inneffective because he was pitching hurt).

Anyway, use Stammen as the closer.

Yes. No more HRod in the 9th. Use Stammen.

Use Espinosa  ..   he can't do anything else.

He had to throw a fastball.  Every knew a fastball was coming because he cant throw anything else for strikes.  Why is he even trying to throw anything else and letting the hitters know he cant throw it?  F this.

Right. Rizzo is in love with him as a closer. There needs to be an organizational decision to end this. It isn't just the manager. This guy is the guy they've decided to use as closer, and he is basically like having Hanrahan again. Can't be trusted to throw strikes. If Davey wants him to close, you tell him no. Period. This FO has been obsessed with having Henry pitch above his pay grade since he got here.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I guess if you are going to lose, lose on someone beating your best pitch versus walking in the winning run.  But still, how the heck do you give up a HR to ROD FREAKING BARAJAS

Stammen, as a former SP, has more stamina.  He's better suited for middle relief where he can log more innings.

You need your bullpen to have at least 4 dominant pitchers, and this year the Nats have like 1.

He is a thrower, no freaking command at all. What a piece of crap. I hate the hopeless and pathetic look on his face. He's got to go.

Rizzo isn't in love with him as a closer, if he was, he would have traded Storen and wouldn't have signed Lidge.  Right now he's our only option (though maybe Burnett deserves a look).

No he isn't, but it's to the point where he needs to be removed from the closer's role.

Tonight wasn't Davey's fault but it will be his fault if he doesn't switch crap around.

Stop playing Espinosa and Bernadina/Nady.
Stop using Rodriguez in the freaking 9th.
