Burnett is terrible, even nady should hit him

And yet he'll have a 1 hitter going in the 5th.

Watch for a wide strike zone tonight for Burnett. Pirates complained to the league that he was unfairly squeezed last time out by a fluctuating strike zone.

Yup.  Heavily debating on picking him up for this game.

man our lineup would have been pretty good with Werth in there, and we could have had one of the better offenses once Morse returns.

Desmond
Harper
Zimm
LaRoche
Morse
Werth
Ramos
Espi/Lombo

Sigh....

It will be good to see #11 back in the lineup and on the field.

No way, Oliver Perez at least did ok in big games.  Burnett is the right handed DCrab.

What's with the weird schedule in DC next week?  2 each against the Pirates and Pads?

Werth placed on 15 day DL as the corresponding move.

Not 60?  I'm guessing there's some GM trickery reason for that, yes?

Other than not having to pay a guy extra money by placing him on the 40 man roster?

Not sure.

Werth can be moved to the 60-day DL at any time.  I expect them to move him there at some point soon.

So glad to see Z-man back!!!

@AdamKilgoreWP

Jayson Werth is on the 15-day DL, and not the 60-day, because teams do not use the 60-day until they need the 40-man spot. Just procedural.

McCutcheon has 0 HRs on the year in 94 ABs and has been sick the past few days but you can bet he'll break that homer-less streak in this series. :?
