My money is on Espinosa to bounce back to his career numbers before Puljos can get back to his.

That in itself is revealing.

It's strange how many players have tough offensive seasons the year after taking a big contract to change teams.

Well, Pujols isn't bouncing back either.  Slightly but not all the way.

Danny's OPS is currently 10 points higher than Albert Puljos.  Its not the end of the world.  People bounce back.

Did you just compare Danny to Pujols?

Will any reporter actually confront Davey about why Espinosa's here?  Confront might be a strong word but someone needs to mention how terrible his numbers are and then ask how bad they have to be before a change is made.

Isn't espinosa roughly at his career numbers?

The comment was more a reference to the fact that Espinosa's career averages are far less impressive than Albert Pujol's and so he wouldn't have to pick up his play nearly as much to get back to them.

Didn't Espinosa go to an eye training specialist over the off season? I think I read that. Did not work, he's worse than ever now.

Yep. I checked: espinosa is hitting .194, OPS of abut .590. (Don't tell anybody, but Lombo is hitting about .300). The only starter hitting as bad as espinosa is Bernadina. I think Jackson outhits them.

He is becoming another Joe Charboneau

How does he give up 12 runs in 2 innings last time then come back and dominate us?
