Time to bump the "Worst offensive performance ever" thread. This is a freaking shame. The Nats won't stop chasing his breaking stuff.

It feels like it but we scored two runs so that may disqualify this from being the worst. That speaks volumes about this offense.

rizzo looked remarkably calm.  i'm surprised he's not beating his head into the railing in front of him.

When are we going to finally have a winner in that thread? When we get no hit?

just get out of this inning, get an awesome bench player like Nady to PH and hope Harper can hit a jack

I wonder how much he got fined today.

Of course.  We're on pace to score 3 runs this game, a copious outpouring of offensive prowess.

Don't want to score too many runs, old man Lerner will cut the budget for next year.

Edwin Jackson can hit, can't he? My scheming depends on it. I mean, if Edwin Jackson can't hit, then I've got, what, well I've still got the Bryceharperinator and I've been meaning to use that... you don't mind, do you, Perry the Platypus?

Explain to me again the mechanism of action for a "jinx"?

That will leave room to have a perfect game tossed against us.

I don't know why some have complained about Jackson. He has pitched a pretty good game. This putrid offense has blinded some to it though. I'm giving it up for Jackson's outing.

Yeah, and Papa Johns (half-price pizza day after a :w: with 5+ runs) and Hard Times (free wings for ticketholders when 6+ runs score) might pull their sponsorships.  They've got a pretty good thing going right now...
