Doesn't take much!  I always thought I was a SSS/LANC kind of guy but after the "fair-market" nonsense with Buerhle and not bidding on Aoki, even if his ceiling is 4th OF, it just goes to show that the owners don't want to open the pocketbook and spend.  That is a tough way to run a large market team, and at some point the FO needs to understand that the team IS a large market team, just one with a market shunned for years.  If the convincing happens, and I don't think it's a real big deal since the production Fielder could bring, and the legitimate shot at the whole shebang, means more butts in seats, more merch sold, more people watching TV with a great new TV deal coming, the Lerners most likely would make the same they do now, if not a bit more but have a contender for some time.  Just my 0.02.

And they are already represented in the TV watching and radio listening demographic as well, since I listen to Charlie and Dave almost every game and watch MASN when I can.
