I think you mean the Lerners, not Rizzo.  Pretty sure it was ol' Marky Mark and old man Ted meeting with Boras and Werthless last year.

No, I'm talking about the blurb linking Rizzo and Fielder at Cafe Milano:
http://www.natsenquirer.com/2011/12/mike-cameron-is-so-old-signs-minors-deal-nationals.html

"You have to hand it to Rizzo, his Hot Stove is buring white-hot at the moment. ... Oh, and don't forget supposedly wining and dining Prince Fielder Sunday night at Cafe Milano in Georgetown? Busy, busy...Rizzo may yet have the last laugh..."

Again, that's an unsubstantiated rumour.  Let's not get out the pitchforks when we find out we didn't even make a bid on Prince.

Aren't most of those sites nothing but unsubstantiated rumors?

Hey, Dunkin' Donuts recently announced plans to open up to 60 new stores in this area, so that's some incentive right there!  In fact, they just started construction on the one next to my office :woop:

On a completely separate note, I hear that Prince is a vegetarian and Rizzo's more of a beef-lover.  Wonder if that might hamper things

The fat jokes are getting so old. Prince has been far healthier than those that are much thinner than he is.

2006 -  157 games
2007 - 158 games
2008 - 159 games
2009 - 162 games
2010 - 161 games
2011 - 162 games

Who the heck wouldn't take that? This guy may be fat, but he has been reliable and injury free for more than 6 years.

He plays really hard too. He dive for balls and runs for all he's worth on the bases. Great effort.

The only problem is that Prince isn't fat.  Deskjockeys like me are fat, Prince is a hefty dude with a ton of muscle.

So what does he win?  A cookie?  Bad joke.

Prince will only have to look at his WS rings and MVP awards not to care.

Ok so now that I am recovered from a heck of a night in AC, why haven't we signed Fielder yet?

Wine and Dine.  Check.
Owners and Boras meething?  Probably a check.
Buster Olney says we are a top 10 team if we sign Fielder.  Check.

Just sign the big guy already!
