Stars and Stripes is now Norfolk Southern, no word on decor changes to accompany the new name.

With any luck, all the staff in that section will wear those striped overalls and conductor's caps, while using train whistles to get the attention of the next person in line when they're looking down at their phone.

Coupon code being promoted on Twitter, doubtful if it is as good as SPHTIX or JR2014 but worth a shot if you are buying online.

This code makes a $3 donation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  $175 PNC tickets are $178 with this code

It does seem to bring the $90 Home/Visitor Infield Box tickets down to $57 though

$9 for a large soda now, but it includes refills which is something that I've suggested in the past.

Did I read correctly that it is $100 for a scoreboard message?

And then just run them the freak over with a locomotive if they don't look up.

Sign up for the kids club and get one, even if you don't have a kid it's a whole lot less than $100.

@curlydubs  I hope that they take down all but one 2012 division champs signs around Nats Park.  Time to move on.

Couldn't agree more, put up a banner, a picture of Morse spraying champagne on the fans, a picture of Werth's walk-off, and that's it. The FO wants to freeze time five minutes after game four ended.

No Home Run Ale at the park. Had to get Atlas instead. Beer cost $9.75 now. That's kind of pushing the limit :) I will probably fuel up at Bluejacket before the games.

I just compared codes for a weeknight game and the JR2014 code is by far the best deal, although it is not available for Friday and Saturday games and is limited to seven pricing sections.  The SPHTIX code is the next best, working for weekends and certain pricing sections that are otherwise not available for discount.  The THRIFTY14 code has better prices than SPHTIX for two pricing sections.  In no case is the NCMEC code the best deal.

Tortilla Coast is a good TexMex meal at the South Capital metro.  It's a easy 10-15 minute walk from there.  Try the Mushroom Goat Cheese enchillatas

I'm down. But the wife . . . not so much.

You want me to walk like 8 blocks in Southeast? Are you trying to get me mugged!?

If you're eating dry ramen and drinking Steel Reserve under the overpass, chances are good that you will be the mugger instead of the muggee.    :)

But muggers don't get to stab people in the eyeball because they're too busy taking their wallets :(

Ya gotta multi-task.    Pull back the "K" with the left from behind as the right takes the wallet.

Couple, you're between the ball park and Barrack's Row, lots options on Barrack's Row, you walk past Gordon Bierschoff if you walk down M St toward the Metro stop (you also pass near a Subway and 5 Guys, not sure how early they open though) and you can jog south on 4th to Tingey/ N street for Blue Jackets again, not sure when they'll be opening

Has anyone tried Shake Shack's "'Shroom Burger'"? Any good? I'm not a vegetarian, but today is Friday and it's Lent.

Edited: Never mind. I'm waiting on line for crab grilled cheese behind Section 114. Crab and Brie on sourdough.
