Rockin' the plum smugglers. I wonder whose pants those are?

Ian's pants ARE a tad tight and revealing! :shock:

Awful.  A walk followed by a 3-1 one count that ends in a GIDP.  So unacceptable.

A strike three looking for Ankiel would have been ok for Ankiel that time because Sanchez was unlikely to throw two more strikes before he threw one more ball.

@MasnBen

Heard in the press box at Sun Life Stadium: Tommy Milone will win 300 career games.

He's getting there. Only 299 to go.

When Zimm doesn't have time to think, his throws are great.

He's been so much better this year. When he has time to think he throws overhand. When he doesn't have time, he doesn't *think* about the sidearm toss.

Jayson Werth is worse against Sanchez than Zimmerman is against Hudson.

For all of you listening out in Radioland: with the Redskins match now having started and the Redskins pre-match show finished, the Nats match is now airing on FM-106.7 as well as 1500...SO much nicer.

Slowes thinks half the people in the stands are there to see local boy Chris Marrero - there's a whole section full of fans waving signs.

EDIT: also see preceding post - Slowes mentioned this too

Werth is a great base runner. He collapsed on offense this year, but he really does know the game.

Marlins announcers mention that there is a large contingent of Marrero fans. Camera pans over them. Loud noise from them:

"Marrero has more fans than the Marlins". Wow...from Marlins announcers...
