Pujols. We should get Pujols. Increase in ticket sales and Jerseys alone would pay his salary

Jersey sales are just one large pool that go to all MLB clubs. Nats will make same ammount on new Pujols jerseys whether he is on the nats or not. Just as long as he isn't still on Cards. Still the hunt for 800 homers would be a lot of tickets.

I notice the name "Jayson Werth" is slightly missing from this. Also, is the rotation in randomized order?

I would assume he is also a piece of crap or will be healing from his own prince albert.

Wed be an offensive Juggernaut if we got oujols and a decent leadoff hitter. And Wed have the best defensive infield in baseball once Desmond is gone

And if I was only 4" taller I could have posted up on Scottie Pippen.  That's a lot of ifs.

We haven't had a leadoff hitter since the Montreal days.  Desmond is going to be here for a long, long time unless they trade him, which is doubtful.

Not unless Desmond gets better.

Agree with your general points above, though.

I don't know, even with 4" I probably couldn't post up on No Tippin' Pippen.

That is a bit extreme.

No, it's not. He might be a MLB ball player, but he is an offensive liability and not worthy of the starting lineup.

Houston, thanks for pointing that out, MY BAD!!!

New Lineup:
1. Stephen Lombardozzi- 2B
2. Danny Espinosa- SS
3. Ryan Zimmerman- 3B
4. Fielder/Pujols- 1B
5. Michael Morse- LF
6. Jayson Werth- RF
7. Bryce Harper- CF
8. Wilson Ramos- C
9. Pitcher

And, no  the rotation was not in Random Order. And I COMPLETELY forgot about Detwiler AND Wang.

New rotation:
1. Stephen Strasburg
2. Jordan Zimmermann
3. Brad Peacock
4. Chien-Mang Wang
5. Ross Detwiler

You forgot Lannan.

LaRoche has not been an offensive liability in the past. He was injured this year. He has always striked out a ton, though.

He'll get a shot when he's fully healthy and I think we'll see a different player.  What we saw wasn't that guy.  A healthy LaRocke is absolutely worthy of being in the lineup.

And the PA will probably help his concentration.
