And Reynolds plays 3rd...
Will it help him become less disinterested to continue playing in a league well below his hitting ability?
I doubt he could hit .250 at this level right now.
I don't want him up in the majors for awhile. But I do think a move to high A is warranted. As far as his level of play on the bases, I've seen him myself. I do think he needs a ton of seasoning. But I don't think it's anything he needs to be in Low A for.
Hey didnt the D-backs use to have a slick fielding 1st baseman....name escapes me
Frankly, it might be a kick in the crotch for him to skip high A and see if he can touch a AA curve ball. He needs seasoning, but he acted like he need a little humility, too.
First name was Adam I think? No not Dunn
Perhaps he should look at the career of JD Drew for motivation. I too would like to see him go 0 for 20 facing better pitching at AA for a healthy serving of humble pie.
Call me crazy, but we do have a lot of really good players. If they would all show up at the same time, we're totally .500.
I was up there tonight and watched him get picked off at first - with a right-hander on the mound - twice. In his first two at bats. Well, one pick-off, one run-down when he was flat caught off first.
