Linty, I guess this is why Espinosa has the highest WAR on the team? :P

BTW, when they say wins above 'replacement', do they actually mean Espinosa's/Werth's/etc replacement? Or just a league average backup?

League average AAAA backup is about right.

I know we suck but if we had a lineup next year of guys playing like they can ...   Espy, Desmond, Zimm, Morse, Harper, Ramos and maybe Bernadina and Morrero.

I'd take my chances with that.

Probably means different things to different people.  One way to view is a player who is successful at AAA, gets promoted to the bigs, but never plays well enough to stick.  Kind of a tweener.
