Arnesen has an unbelievable sinker, but that is pretty much about it.  I've always liked the guy, but Im not so sure he is anything more than a organizational guy.

Didn't they say he hit 97 on the gun?

It was a typo. I've seen him in person. He doesn't get over 92.

No, I made fun of your hard-on for certain players.

I want Rosenbaum to be promoted.

Any word on who backfills the slot?

A little more on his performance at Potomac:

Quote
After yielding two runs on three hits in the first inning on Sunday, Danny Rosenbaum delivered one of the dominant performances of the 2011 season. The lefthander allowed no more hits in seven more innings, struck out a career high 11 and led the Nationals to a 5-2 victory over the Frederick Keys in the series finale at Pfitzner Stadium.

Bumped up right before the AFL cut off. Wonder if that's any indication of him being one of our allocations.

I was under the impression that Rosenbaum was more of a finesse lefty?

Is that not the case?

That's my impression of him as well.

His innings are getting up there. Maybe he goes with an eye towards moving to the pen, like Peacock last year?

All total speculation on my part.

Certainly didn't hurt Peacock.

He throws around 90 and has a good breaking ball and changeup. Reminds me of Lannan.

Tri City Cats manager Stubby Clapp goes wild on umpire after Nats RHP and Auburn Doubleday Brian Dupra hits an opposing player with an inside pitch. The umpire called the player back to home plate after he made the call that the player leaned into the pitch.

Stubby Clapp sounds like something you pick up in Bangkok.

Watch it, Stubby is one of my all-time favorite P-Nats.

Decent return for Meyers other than the walks: 4.2 IP 2 H 0 R 5 BB 6 K (84 pitches, 52 strikes)

When did Bronson get called up to AAA? Interesting

Meyers had 6 walks all year in 102 IP prior to tonight.  Walked 5 in 4.2 IP tonight
