Without Fat Pair, who will fart "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" to loosen the guys up after a tough loss?

Too bad there was a rain delay in Hagertown.  I'd like to have seen Ray get in another full outing.

Also Solis reported to Hagertown today.  wasnt the plan for him to start the year at A+ ball?

You know what's amazing? Our aresenal of minor league pitchers who are actually playing well and project to the major-league level:

Maya
Milone
Meyers
Peacock
Ray
Solis
Cole

All of these guys project as major league starters and even if only 1-2 of them pan out to be good, it's a success. Our chances are solid.

Marrero just hit a walk off single in the 9th.  Chiefs win 8-7.

He went 3-for-5 with a double (9), rbi (20) and raised his average to .278.

Marrero can't be called up. It's not in the budget.

Knorr, you and I both know Holder was only.drafted because he'd come cheap.

Just another mark against Rizzo and his plan.

If we actually spent money, we could have drafted and signed Wil Myers in that round who is a stud prospect.

Lastings Milledge (playing for Charlotte) just got ejected from the Chiefs game for spiking his helmet after a strikeout.

Also, Shairon Martis had a good game for Harrisburg, 6IP, 5H, 0ER, 0R, 1BB 5SO.

...and Brian Bruney is coming in for Charlotte in the 8th.

It's old home night...bad old home night, that is.

marrero hit his 10th double and now has the average back up to .279.  he's going to finish the month of may hitting over .310 most likely.

Just when it looked like he might get a shot at first, well along comes Michael Morse.  Maybe if we get rid of Ankiel....
