and once again I state that his SLG Pct is higher than the four Nationals listed. That was my comment and it no matter what you might want it to be is true.

Player         SLG Pct
Bonifacio      .378
Werth          .368
Bernadina     .360
Ankiel           .333
Desmond      .310

Sure, unfortunately that wasn't what we were discussing.  :P

he did hit #10 last night.  Something tells me 40 is out of reach.

BTW, Josh Willingham is DH'ng due to neck issues - took a cortisone shot last night.   I'm guessing he isn't commanding a whole lot of value on the trade market right now.

Just posted that in the H-Rod thread. He is playing through his neck injury, so far. I'd love to see what Oakland gets for him, but his trade value is probably worth less than Type A comp picks, right?

I'm also curious if he will end up a Type A when it's all said and done, and how much that will hurt his value on the FA market.

Wil Nieves traded to the Braves for cash.  Bet the Lerners wish we had held onto Nieves now, right?

Wil Nieves was traded in exchange for one dollar. How appropriate.

The Lerners are furious they didn't think of this last season.

If I only would have known all it took was $1 to get rid of Wil Neives I could have saved countless other fans needless pain. :bang: :lmao:

Sounds like you had some diabolical plan in mind on what you were going to do with him once you acquired his rights.

It's funny because last night they were talking about how great he has been against the Giants and the west in general and how it played a major role in the trade.

I've never felt like Nyjer was the all-evil being some believe (Coladar, Ray for example).

Of course we've seen this movie before, at some point the clock strikes midnight for Cinderella.

Anyone have a barf-bag?

I can't wait until he finally slumps.  As soon as things go wrong, that guy comes unglued.  He can't handle adversity.  He's been fortunate in having this career year.
