Scherzer has had two scoreless innings.

That's not unusual for most teams.

We should use some of the Lerners' money to invest in cloning.

Then we can have 5 Strasburgs.

Sadly, it is for us, 3/5 of the time.

I'm embarassed that JD Martin is starting a TV game. 7 runs should get you sent down.
Then maybe JD Martin AND Lannan will be sent down... fast.

5th   R Raburn homered to left, G Laird and D Worth scored.

Nationals   4
       7

And a few Clippards and Storens, 4 Zimms to cover the infield, 2 Harpers for the corner OF, and a younger Pudge.

How much longer is Detwiler going to languish in the minors?  We need him now!

He'll probably need the full 30 days. I wouldn't expect him until after the 4th of July. They should give Brad Meyers a tune up after he gets off the DL, then bring him up.

Should our AAA be so devoid of starting pitching prospects?  :icon_frown:

So, when Livan inevitably comes back down to earth, and Strasburg hits his first rough patch, we're really freaked.

OK. It looks like Stammen, who isn't all that good, is better -- right now -- than Lannan...who pitches like he's injured.

Jim Price was a back-up catcher who has a Tigers WS ring from 1968.

Stammen was terrible in his first game at Syracuse.

The mere suggestion will have the Lerners insisting that they clone their money several times over before forking over any money for any other project.

How about Milone? I hear he's having a nice season. Does a soft tossing lefty need to develop any more?

Haynesworth demanded a trade. skipping your mandatory minicamp.

too lazy to dig up the redskins thread though to post in it.

Once you get past Livo and Strasburg, you're basically blasted back in time to the days of Billy Traber, Pedro Astacio, Ramon Ortiz, etc.
