I used to feel the same way.   But there ain't nothing sexier than a woman to call me Michael (LOL).    But when your mom called you Michael and your middle name, you were in deep doo doo.
Oh yeah. I cringe every time I hear that

so yeah, who is in charge of the fantasy league? tell em to let me back in.

You can "add owner" on my team's page, so Corey James could set you up.  Was JMU Dukes the one who set up the league?

The Straw Hat Pirates are 4-6, but most teams are around .500, so you are by no means out of it.  The top team is in your division though at 8-1-1 (unbelievable team), so you might be going for a Wild Card.

for those looking to pursue Werth as a FA (who I would love to have as a RFer) the numbers over Morse's career suggest the same type of hitter JW was when he emerged as that guy for the Phils. Better defensively too.

Tiger Double Play trivia;

Name the one Tiger pitcher to win a game and the other Tiger pitcher to lose two games in the 2006 World Series?

He said he wants to be called Michael.
Is there a story behind it? They used to call him Mike, but suddenly I only see Michael.

Plush/Bernadiner platoon.

Morse in RF.

problem solved.

Why platoon?  Give Bernadina the job in CF.  He's hitting well, his defense is spectacular, and he's just going to get better since he's nearly 4 years younger than TPlush.

Lannan should be 5th starter long man. Rizzo needs to swing a trade or take a risk on a guy like Arnesen or Meyers. Option clocks be damned.

Morse could one day surpass Church, if he keeps developing.

I'll bet there would be a lot of defensive plays that Morse couldn't make.

too busy with the Bernadiner love affair in RF.

Morse should be the every day Rfer. period.

He got a haircut too. Wants to be taken more seriously, it seems.

Why couldn't we start making rotation moves before the team dipped below .500? Take a chance on a kid - if we don't try them out this year, there may not be room for them next year.

Can we just nickname him John "3 and a third" Lannan?

Giving Plush the benefit of the doubt that its just a slump.

I say platoon em for two weeks. If one vastly outplays the other, bench the lesser player full time.

maybe it lights a fire under Morgan and he returns to last years form, maybe Bernadiner just flat out beats the crap out of him.

its a win/win either way.

He's got one more batter in him. Hard to imagine he can't execute the walk. :)

If Walker comes in what are the odds he gives up a homer in this stadium?

Last year Morgan was absurdly valuable on defense. Destroyed the rest of the league, head and shoulders above the rest. But that was last year. Maybe his brains are in his hand.

Well yeah...  I was conveniently ignoring the fact that there's really no one better to replace him :(

With the likelyhood that livan isn't coming back or will come back to earth and atilano probably another lannan/stammen we need 4 new starters

Stammen can at least strike guys out, and was 31K/16BB or 1.9/1 K/BB rate.
Lannan is 24K/35BB or 0.69.
Matt Chico might be a better left-hander.  He had 3 K's and 0 BB's in the 5 IP in 2010 here.
