Let's see here...John Lannan can't pitch and Cristian Guzman can't hit RHP/play defense.  Guess what I already knew.

Awful play by Guzman, especially with Lannan on the mound

Lannan to DL. Book it.

Why the DL and not Syracuse? Is he hurt again?

Like it or not, the offense has been doing it's job tonight.  They're hitting a 7.2 ERA against a 6 ERA pitcher.  This one is (especially now) obviously on the pitcher.

Way to go Rigglemoron. Now the game is out of hand so just leave John "OMGWTFWHIP" Lannan out there. It's not like there are really good relievers in the pen :bang:

Whatever happens to him, we have to replace him with somebody and the options are all bad.

Lannan is in the rotation and Burnett is in the pen. Didn't you hear them slobbering on them in ST.

Why does everyone say that? Call up someone new. What the heck could it hurt? All of these AAAA guys have been exposed now and have zero trade value. Could have traded them 3 for 1 for a 5th starter earlier in the season.

Lannan pitched an additional 1/3 of an inning and gave up three runs...instead of being pulled 5 minutes ago and the game being tied.
