Since there already is a thread about Wang, why even mention that you think it's threadworthy?

Remember that crazy Joe Beimel fan? Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a crazy Doug Slaten fan who showed up and started posting his YouTube videos all over the board?

That dude must have had a half dozen or more little nippers crawling all over him in some of those videos.  Must have reached a breaking point.

Geez, the Caps have Semin, and the Nats have Wang... all we need now is Ball, Scrotum, and Crotch.

Slaten bumped from the 40 man with the Kennedy signing.

We hardly knew you, Doug.

Ladson:
Apparently he already passed through waivers as well.

And Sam Cassell is on the Wiz coaching staff.

And let's not forget Chris Cooley's little pic issue...

Not to mention the fact that they're called the Wiz. It's like a golden shower of awful basketball.

Indeed. I was having a good day up until hearing this news. The NQ's "Endless Spring" campaign gained five more dollars to bring the total to $45 out $4000 needed for the 2011 mission. But this Slaten news...

Anyone have any Viagra?

I had this info in this thread long before it was posted again.

If you guys weren't busy talking about our new Wang... maybe you'd have paid attention and noticed earlier.

Let's just hope they don't take any quotes from Caps players.

Wang has a high ceiling possibility of coming around with a much less stress situation than he was in NY.  NY basically let him go after two solid seasons with a high 3 ERA and 38 wins heading into 2008.  Yes he's had injury concerns but at 29 that sinker is still a quality pitch.  The Nationals organization may have fallen in the Orlando Hudson area with settling on an okay Adam Kennedy but Wang's addition is a good sign that they continue to add some what valuable pieces.  But two years ago Wang was an untouchable commodity in the Yankees organiztion.

I believe the Nats were rumored to be trying to trade for Wang a couple years ago. Finding it on Google now with all the signing stories is near impossible.
