As much as I liked Kearns over the years for his defensive play, this is what I hope is happening during interleague play.

I think I would rather see them give him one last look at a time when they don't have him taking someone else's spot (he could be like the pitcher in these games) so that they finally can make a decision.

just look at their lineup.

they just pwned Ervin Santana yesterday (4.2 IP 6 ER) and the day before they beat the crap out of John Lackey (5 IP 8 ER).
