Anybody else pick up a copy of Deus Ex?  Just bought it on Steam based on tons of good reviews and impressions from others I know who bought it.

I'm definitely gonna pick it up, when I am no longer el broke-o.

$49.99.  They had it for $44.99 leading up to the launch but now that it's out, it's regular price.  I'm sure there will be some small sales eventually, but I doubt it'll be in the bargain bin any time soon.  Still, with the recent trend of major PC titles selling for $60 like their console cousins, $50 is already kind of a sale.

I never played the originals, so I should be able to give a decently unbiased opinion.

I downloaded Battlefield: Vietnam for my XBOX 360. It's freaking amazing. Anyone else played it yet? I was blown away by the Hill 37 map on Rush.

Nope, Battlefield: Vietnam. It's an add-on to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It's better than 1943.

You gotta play it man. It's pretty good and the online is amazing. I'm still playing it long after I got tired of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The Rush mode in multiplayer is fun as hell. You alternate between defending your COM stations in your bases and attacking your opponent's bases.

I figured I'd just wait for BF3.

I got Dragon Age, Fallout 3, and Full House poker to last me till I get some extra funds. and Section 8 Prejudice if I really wanna shoot something online.

Who wants to check out Terraria?  Steam has a 4 pack for $30, so it would be less than $10 a person if I can get some other people that want to check it out.

Here is part one of the video series with the totally awesome TotalBiscuit and Jesse Cox from OMFGCata:

It had me  ing a good bit, especially the end of the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89fW4MTJvRs#t=27m31s

You'll both be tired of it in a week.

This. I bought it in a used deal from Gamestop: buy two used games and get one free... I got Splinter Cell: Conviction, Mass Effect 1, and then Borderlands... Borderlands was the worst decision I could've had to get for free.

Shmon, anybody?  It'd be $7.50 per person to get the 4 pack.

Yep. I thought it was cool when I first got it. Hated it after a few days. It gets boring and repetitive.

Is Conviction any good? I've been thinking about picking it up. It's $20 at Wal-mart.

I really enjoyed it. Its not as stealth based as the first 3 (or 4?) games were because in this one he's pretty much a rogue agent. He uses a lot more assault rifles, smg's, and shotguns so its like any other 3rd person shooter with Splinter Cell involved. That said, I really enjoyed the game. It was in my top 5 games last year. It may have been better if it weren't for ME2, Red Dead Redemption, and Starcraft 2... I recommend playing it somehow whether its buying it or borrowing it. I still haven't played the co-op missions.

Speaking of Starcraft 2, Chief and I were thinking about playing some games tonight. Anyone who has the game interested? (Looking at you UMD!)

I doubt it.

I like these kinds of games.

I also have Deus Ex Human Revolution now though.
