Is it much better than the recent titles?  I stopped buying in 08 I think.

I bet MD is bad in the game :?

If I pick it up, I'll probably play as LSU.

By far the best game they've released.

I saw a commercial for it and I thought the graphics/gameplay looked a little weak but I've heard nothing but rave reviews from people about it.

Look at this thread and tell me the graphics look weak:

http://www.operationsports.com/forums/ncaa-football/427007-photographic-side-ncaa-football-11-a.html

Gameplay is the best it's ever been; there are weaknesses of course and things to be improved on, but it's really fun to play.

The only complaint that I have so far is that it is a bit too easy. I pretty much have to play with a 3 star team or worse on Heisman to make it challenging. I haven't messed with any sliders yet, though.

I've been using my East Dillon Lions TB team (1 star, C- overall) and most big 12 teams are killing me. Fun game,

Wow, really?  What kind of fps?  I was looking at maybe getting a cheap laptop, but I would like to at least be able to log into WoW to do auction house spectating on it.  It looks like a 4500MHD or intel hd (on core ix models) or an amd system with a radeon 4250 would work, but I'd like to stay under $500, else I'll probably just get an iPad.

Those do look pretty good, but whatever commercial I saw they didn't look that great certainly not as good as the still frames in that thread. I love the recruiting side of college sports games so hopefully I can get that check from my insurance soon so I can go grab another PS3 (hopefully a white one :az: )

I was hesitant to get Starcraft II because I didn't think it'd run on my Dell XPS but some people say it will run (I can run Company of Heroes on it just fine, even online in 5-6 player games).

So now I'm kind of excited to get it, I loved the old Starcraft, if I do get it, we have to get some games in.

Definitely. I believe their is enough of us here to get in a good 2v2/3v3 game.

Did you pre-download the time-locked installer or are you gonna get a box copy?  I already pre-downloaded the installer but I'm debating whether to use it or pick up a box at the local Best Buy.

We should definitely link up on bnet once it goes live.

Does anyone know how I can check my system specifications? I want to make sure I can run it. Like I said, I can run Company of Heroes just fine but I'm still concerned.

srtest.com tells you how well you can run a game by selecting the game you want and checking your specs but going to run and typing dxdiag can tell you your specs.

Thanks!! I can run it! 8)

My video card RAM passes the minimum but not the recommended, but that's the only non-passing, so it doesn't matter. I'm about halfway between minimum and recommended. Not bad for a laptop from 2007.

oh it doesn't run very well at all on my netbook. 16FPS in Teldrassil. at the newbie area.

just enough to solo a little bit and that's all really.

I may just go ahead and get a Desktop to play WoW, I am convinced now that I'll be able to run WoW decently on a P4(i thought a Dual-Core was necessary before, not so much now).

Look at the CPU building thread.  Nathan and I built desktops.  Runs wow on ultra with like 100-200 frames. So awesome. Can't wait to try some other games.

Yeah he should.  But he's Alliance.  Blood and Thunder!  For the Horde!

Oh, and I have the WoW armory app, and you can browse auctions, but not buy or sell.  That functionality costs $2.99 a month I believe.

I might have to check out SC II.  Never played Starcraft though.

Yeah I realized that when he said the nelf starting zone.Screw that, come horde. You can join us! No really, if you do start playing, join us. I made a DK named Strasburg :P

I never knew the app costed money. I saw it on my list for the droid but I haven't downloaded it or really looked into it. That's lame. Bungie is charging so much for every feature lol.

Starcraft is awesome. Its one of the most perfect games created. Perfect in a sense that everything is balanced and has 10x replay value over any game.

In other news, Halo Reach comes out September 18th. That game is going to be awesome. Not only is it going to have awesome multiplayer and single player, the forge and firefight modes are going to be10x bettter. The forge in reach is literally a map maker. You should check some things out about it if you're interested. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=401968

negatory.  I want to be a Werewolf when Cataclysm comes out. that's the plan.  plus I've been reading up on the Cataclysm story and lore and such (i'm a lore nerd).  tyhe Alliance's jackass leader (Varian) is much less of a jackass than the Horde's new jackass leader (Garrosh).

i just started a free trial to see if it would run on this netbook. lol.

anyhow, i am playing on Steamwheedle Cartel.

I'm going to get a proper computer for Cataclysm, just not sure when exactly.

You should have done RaF for the 3x XP bonus for 90 days.

TBH, I like Alliance too, because I liked playing a gnome, and I had an easier time finding my way around Ironforge and Stromwind City than Thunder Bluff or god forbid Undercity.  It's just that once I was kind of established on my server, I realized that there was something like 6:1 horde : alliance.  So I had a faction change to undead.  Ironforge or Stormwind at night:  maybe 10 people in the city.  Orgrimmar?  Probably close to 100.

Dang would be fun if we were all on the same server but that's straight. I've played as both factions and I find the horde more fun.
