Did it get released yet?  If so how can I download it?

Yes, it's released on sportsconnect. It came out last night.

Go to the main menu > Sports connect > scroll until you see roster vault. Browse/download.

It's under the Name of, I think, OS Full Minors V1 (something to that extent). I suspect there are tons of downloads and lots of good votes on it, so it should be near the top.

The roster is really sick. Strasburg's face is pretty close. I had to change some ratings though.

1-3 in my first week so far. Just beat the Mets.

OOTP 11 comes out on Monday for pre-order customers - like me; my first purchase of a baseball game since Triple Play 2000.

I'm going to get it tonight.  I've been too busy the past few days with other things, but tonight is open for some Show

Just ran an OOTP 11 simulation of the whole season. John Lannan finished with a 3.18 ERA and 134 Ks. Also, Wil Nieves hit .071, Felipe Lopez came back via trade, Ryan Zimmerman hit .340 with 42 home runs, Ian Desmond hit .284, Leonard Davis entrenched himself as the starting 2B with a .308 average, and players I did not expect to see on the Nationals roster in 2011 who are include Joe Koshansky, Ryan Shealy, Josh Whitesell, Dana Eveland, and A.J. Pierzynski.

Oh, and the Nationals finished 79-83, third in the division, ahead of the Marlins and 100-loss Mets.

Also, the Mets traded Kiko Calero to the Yankees for Nick Johnson.

Finally got The Show 2 days ago. Needless to say, I suck at hitting. I can get hits, but I can't string them together very well. Only run I've got so far is a hr which barely cleared the wall (I believe it bounced off the top of the wall, back into the field) with Zimmerman vs the Giants. I think I have the pitching down, only allowed 2 hits with Lannan through 8 IP.

Don't sign Garland in The Show. My gosh he was terrible for me.

as others were saying, pitching is really fun in 2k10. i beast at it... unfortunately, hitting is very fluky. i can score 14 runs one game, and 2 the next. on a side note, i am one game away from leading to nats to the world series (up 3-0 in the NLDS over the cards).

I had to adjust the sliders when I started playing.  Definitely moving timing all the way to the right helps.

I would recommend doing an RTTS with a position player to learn how to hit. That's what I did in 2009.

Also, Guess Pitch is the devil in this year's version. Turn it off. As soon as I turned GP off my hitting woes ended.

I'll have to try this, I was a much better hitter in 09 but can't seem to get it going this year in my franchise mode. I was trying to rely more on the guess pitch feature so maybe that's my problem.

I guess I should warn there's an adjustment period when you stop relying on Guess Pitch. But I really feel (as do others at Operation Sports) that something is broken with GP in this year's version.

Also, I think I was talking earlier in the thread about using power swings a lot. I take that back. I now typically only use it with Dunn (always), Zimmerman (when ahead in the count and sitting fastball), and one random rookie with a really high power rating.

Can you explain this a little more? I always use guess pitch and I'm terrible at hitting. What's the problem with it?

I think it somehow alters your "hit probability" when you use it.  I had it on Classic 1/6 (I think) and on Rookie, so that if you guessed the correct pitch, it would also show you the exact location.

I made contact A LOT, but I almost always hit it right at someone.  Turned it off and I now have many more balls drop in for hits.

MLB2k series and "da bomb" should probably never be used in the same sentence.

2k8 was pretty solid, actually. 2k9 just stepped so far backwards...

Off the top of my head, the only major change to 2k10 is the addition of a Be A Pro game mode.

I ended up getting both MLB2K10 and MLB 10: The Show. This years game is pretty good. The last MLB game I played from 2k was a couple of years ago. Last years demo blew. I tried out this years demo expecting the same, but it surprised me. If your only option is MLB2K10, you won't regret the purchase. It's a very fun baseball game.

Its fun. Seems more realistic than any of the 2k games but thats not saying much. I like how I can actually strike out and strike people out on pitches in the zone instead of every pitch getting grounded out or flew out.

I'll have to give this a try. In the meantime I tried adjusting some of the sliders and I seem to be hitting more, but I still can't hit worth a crap with Dunn for some reason.  :?

It is 2010. He doesn't hit but walks at an insane rate.

I actually do think I have more walks than hits for far  (I'm only in the 2nd or 3rd week). And I still haven't hit a homer with him, meanwhile I signed Jermain Dye and he is absolutely on fire.  :stir:
