We rolled over for Lowe tonight just like we've always done. :?

Groundball pitchers kick our asses 99% of the time for some reason.

 we could only dream.  our outfield will be known as the toolshed: milledge, dukes and burgess all five-tool studs.

That OF would lead to an AZ cumfest.

Carp needs some new material if he is going to be around for another year.  I am so sick of hearing about jam jobs, maple bats, and "manny being manny."

Nothing's worse than "How far is it going?!" I'd probably like it more if a higher percentage of 'em were actually right.

Milledge had HR earlier. Balestar pitched 4 really good innings, but then ran into trouble around the 5th.  A lot of miserable calls by the umps.

And a CAT FIGHT between two women in the 3rd base line seats.  They had to stop the game because they spilled out onto the field and security dragged them out.

Or it could have just been three double plays by Nats fielders.  But this sounds better.

I bet he's close to a 1-game record.

And he got this one from Tom Paciorek. But some of his other stuff is trite.

Guzman has been money tonight, I think all of his hits have all been to the exact same spot.

He'd probably already be here had he not freaked up when he first made it to Columbus. I'm still hoping he gets a shot, though. He has 23 HR on the year now.

From another thread:

It's amazing how people want to believe that which re-inforces their world view.

CRAP!  I benched Cleveland's Ben Francisco to start Xavier Nady in the final regular season week of WNFF Fantasy baseball.  Francisco has hit 2 HRs and 4 RBIs SO FAR, while Nady is 0-3.

Your ERA took a big hit tonight, but it's still close in every other category at this point. I'm hoping M. Cabrera will have one of his good weeks for me.

True. But he'd be the one to point that type of thing out (over and over and over again) if it really did happen.

However, ronnynat posted a pic once that was hot as hell off the hook. He wound up removing it but I wouldn't mind getting another peek at it.

Joel's fastball is wicked fast. Man, I hope he can get his accuracy down.
