I have no clue why Balester doesn't throw more offspeed pitches. F*** St. Claire.

I had never gotten the chance to see Estrada at Potomac (or anywhere else for that matter).  I like his approach and it appears he has a real good feel for the strike zone.  I wonder if they will keep him as a reliever, or if they will let him go for a starting position.

marco was phenomenal that inning.  absolutely phenomenal.  came in men on 1st and 3rd, 0 outs, middle of the order and got the job done.  great sign of things to come.

Should I read that as "Milluh Time" or "Mill Time"? The first one works a lot better.

I don't want to get too pumped about it just yet but should he progress at this rate (unlikely) he could be with the parent club by this time 2010.

I don't know why, but I have always read it as Mill-E (e like in Wall-E)

 we could only dream.  our outfield will be known as the toolshed: milledge, dukes and burgess all five-tool studs.

That'd be sweet. He'd only come up if he was going to start, though. It's nice to have that type of hitter in the minors...finally.

Milledge had HR earlier. Balestar pitched 4 really good innings, but then ran into trouble around the 5th.  A lot of miserable calls by the umps.

Luckily we scored two runs before the roll was complete.
