Quick, one of you 3 go back and delete your post to cancel out the jinx.

That was little league by Flores. Balester should've been out of this inning unscathed.

Flores will have to make up for it at the plate.

I can't believe we got out of this inning only letting up one run.  Unfortunately I think that Balestar has a very weak mentality and gets rattled ever so easily.  The hope is, I think, that this will be fixed with experience.

That's because the other 2 refused to go back and delete their posts. You did your part JMU. We could've been out of there had the other 2 contributed.

No actually the book on him is he's got the cool, calm, collective demeanor like John Lannan but also has a killer instinct in him.  Lannan is more of a finesse pitcher and most of the time will do a bit more nibbling, Balester - when he misses - it's because of poor command.

That said it wasn't the best of innings for him, but he could've gotten out of it without any runs given up.

I'll never take back anything I said.  The only time I ever deleted/edited one of my posts was after a drunken rant about how bad the Lerners are.  Then the next morning I woke up, read it and just figured it's no use because they won't change their stance.  That's why I haven't talked about them in sometime.

Shows how much you care about Balester's outing.

That may be the rap on him in the minor leagues, but the Balestar I have seen in the majors has crumbled when he starts getting in trouble.  I would love for him to get that Lannan demeanor at this stage, but to be quite honest this is not the first time we have seen him falter after giving up a walk.  He is still young, so the book isn't closed on him... yet.

I have no clue why Balester doesn't throw more offspeed pitches. freak St. Claire.

We might be done scoring so we're in trouble here.

This ump crew has been downright piss poor.  It sucks that we have to put up with this crap for another two games.  And no, there is no need to go back and "fix" my post so it reads team instead of ump.
