Some possible moves tonight.  Bring Balester up, ship Colome and WMP out for an eight ball.

Pena is not going anywhere. we've discussed why in a different thread. :(

it sucks, but that's how it is. :( :(

I know.  But I can dream.  That meaningless homer from him tonight just bought him another month.

...you start paying more attention to individuals, trying to ferret out the real keepers from the throwaways....

Or you throw away the team and put ferrets and squirrels on the field.  Make Lo Duca the manager.  Congratulations on your 6,000+ posts, MisterJmad.

ABC has humans throwing themselves on gigantic car windshields to get points for human bug splatters.  They should do this at Nationals Park, so we don't have to watch the game.

The funny thing is, Pena (any player, really) has the ability to figure it out and finish off the season strong. But we need consistency here out of all of our "veteran" players. Bipolar vets don't really help when you have this many 24-and-unders in your lineup.

Speigner and Zinicola record holds and Sanches ( :?) gets the save as Columbus wins 4-2. Balester is now 9-3 on the season.

But not nearly as disturbing as the top of tonight's 1st inning, where we gave up 6 runs...  Or listening to Ray Knight trying to shove pro-Nationals propaganda down our throats, after this sorry game.

game was over before the nats even came to the plate. just gotta laugh. the angels put us out of our misery early.

at least THE BEAST hit homer #3 on the season. a no doubt shot to deep left!

look at the bright side, we outscored the angels 3-2 after the 2nd inning!  :woop: :woop:

Dukes effortless moonshot made the game worthwhile. Dukes just put his head down and went into his home run trot as soon as he connected because he knew it was long gone!

serious question, how many homers do you think Dukes will have at the end of the season?

i'm confident he'll hit 15+. he's gonna go on a power tear the second half of the season! he'll easily hit 10+.

Lo Duca to possibly go back on the DL. For "light-headedness."

Has $5,000,000 ever been flushed down the drain more forcefully...

Make that 27 hits in 9 innings given up by Hill. This franchise is freaked.
Not quiet in the farm though.
