An extended one actually.

When did you hear that? I'll back it up to check.

He might have said Oh shoot but his southern drawl made it sound like that.  It was in response to something Bob said, I forget where it was.

he definitely has gone hill after pitching 3 great games and not getting the win for 'em because we can't produce runs. This blows.

looks like we'll be 16 under after today. new low for the year. 12 and 24 in our last 36. thats a resounding .333 - we are now on pace to win 57 games this year. unless of course the team learns how to play some fundamentals and learns how to sacrafice a runner over or knock in a runner from 3rd base with less than 2 outs or keep opposing pitchers from hitting .400 against us or ......

This sounds like an AZ like excuse.

Bergmann has not impressed me at all this season, save his performance against NYM on May 15th

Acta has shown he will not bunt runners over though.

Bergman needs another quick strip to the minors.

By way of Covered Wagon...with a broken wheel...

This is like Deja Vu all over again... walks the pitcher AGAIN?
Gorzelanny walked, Mientkiewicz scored, Gomez to third, Wilson to second.  McLouth hit sacrifice fly to right, Gomez scored, Wilson to third.

Nationals 0
Pirates 4

Has Manny gone out to the mound yet?  I'm on a computer.

like if i were manny - after bergmann walks the opposing pitcher for a 2nd game in a row (to score a run to add insult to injury) i would have come out to the mound - and told him to pack his bags and demote him to A ball.

I think he threw a strike on 3-0.

Would you trade Bergmann for Willis? (contract aside)

It isnt an excuse, he pitched amazing games after coming back up and we couldn't give him a win. I just wanted him to get something out of those 3 games..

But its back to old bergmann and seems like im back on the beach

That's more like it. A triple by Dukes scores Guzman.

I thought you were saying that Bergmann is doing badly because we have no offense and it has affected his psyche.

WTF! Dukes should've scored on that. Then again a groundout would've scored him.

why is everyone blaming bergmann, why aren't you blaming all the rest of the players for bergmann getting blasted again?
