It was high but it should've been scored a hit since the ball was headed to CF for a hit had it not hit Bergmann. The official scorer took that hit away from Sanchez and gave Bergmann a break because the runs wind up unearned because of this judgment. Nevertheless, :bball:

Yeah, the way Ladson reports injuries I would expect that. He writes in the article "there is a possibility he could be placed on the DL" which means that the injury is probably a lot worse than we think.

Yea, your probably right... retroactive to whenever he last pitched so he should probably be able to make his next start.

At this point, we have to hold pitching coach Randy St Claire accountable. Was there ANY plan on how to pitch to him? (A GOOD plan?) This pitching staff is quickly working its way to being one of the worst in MLB.

Not to mention looking at Gorzelanny's splits I noticed that he has an 8.87 day game ERA this season. Not that it will do us any good though
