Bergmann seems to be the only guy on the Nationals that anyone gets mad at; Acta today, Jim in April. No one got mad at Chico. No one gets on Hill or Redding for blowing leads. Mackowiaks quality at bats have never been questioned. Milledge is a saint and never gets yelled at for not running stuff out or swinging at awful bad pitches. (Church got the business constantly). Never has the bullpen been talked to about blowing tight games. Bergmann gets roughed up and then yelled at. There are about 17 other players that need that kind of working over too
Acta and JimBo - I think they get a fair amount of anger around here.
Chico - Sophomore season, was never fully ready for an MLB stint in the first place. How can you really get mad at the guy?
Redding - Journeyman. Expected to blow it. What he has given us has been nothing short of a miracle. Again, how can you get mad at the guy?
Hill - Injured for four years. Viable excuse but the anger really should be directed towards the ones who put this wreck on the mound time and time again.
Entire Offense - No excuses. Anger abounds.
Jason Bergmann - Three years of constant up and down who shows he can pitch some gems, but then he completely chokes. What's his excuse?
