Wait a minute, I thought Mets fans had a hard one for those guys? I even talked to a few Mets fans that thought both of them were future HOFers.

You can attribute that to the mythology that, for some inexplicable reason, follows Ryan Church and dupes people into hyping him into something he clearly isn't. I'm not sure why people would ever say that about Schneider either but I heard he calls a "darn good game" and that rhymes with hall of fame.

so yeah, they definitely deified Church, just like Tom does.
