I don't think I want to play this game this early

You know, spider.  There was a time that I went to change Andrew's diaper (I guess he was about 4 mo. old.) when he peed on me, then immediately spit up and then started poopin'!  I finally had to laugh because it all happened so fast.  I mean what are the odds of nearly everything occurring practically at the same time!

Ewww Kim.  That would make me sick too!  Its bad enough I had to hold my breath when changing diapers for kids I baby sat for or for my niece when she was young.

Part of the sacrifices of motherhood.

When it's your own kid, the gag reflex seems to be less severe than for other kids you care for.  Actually, I think once you become a mom, that reflex almost goes away, period.  I can handle much more than I ever used to be able to handle.

"The Triple" is almost unheard of even in the annals of motherhood. Having said that,

Emily was pretty easy.  She used to hoot like an owl when she was pooping.  It was like a fire alarm going off.  Whenever we heard, "HOOT! HOOT! HOOT! HOOT!" we knew it was time.  She was walking and in potty pants at 10 months, and was full potty trained at about one and a half.  I think every parent that had a little one in diapers in 1991 called a messy diaper a "SCUD."  We also called Emily a "Mobile SCUD launcher."  Once, though, we did catch her out in the back yard taking a dump.  We asked what she was doing.  She looked over at us like it should be obvious and replied, "Playing Lion King."

When she was a newborn, she had a spell of projectile vomiting.  She knocked out a couple tape measure hits.

Her first word: ball (YES!)

Dads are affected the same way. At least those who share the joys of parenthood. :-)

Natsaddict,

Is your new AVI the new baby or one of yours when it was younger?

That's my daughter, Emily, about 17 years ago.

Oh, yeah.  She's gone through her entire life with the same "life's a party" attitude, and is naturally hilarious.  I can't believe she'll be heading off to college next year. :panic:  But, she says she'll always be my little girl so I that can buy clothes for her.

I remember going shopping with Mom and bringing home dresses and clothes home to try on again.  Ask Dad what he thinks?  Answer - "(Nodding yes), anything for my beautiful daughter"  Daddy's little girl!
