Emily was pretty easy. She used to hoot like an owl when she was pooping. It was like a fire alarm going off. Whenever we heard, "HOOT! HOOT! HOOT! HOOT!" we knew it was time. She was walking and in potty pants at 10 months, and was full potty trained at about one and a half. I think every parent that had a little one in diapers in 1991 called a messy diaper a "SCUD." We also called Emily a "Mobile SCUD launcher." Once, though, we did catch her out in the back yard taking a dump. We asked what she was doing. She looked over at us like it should be obvious and replied, "Playing Lion King."
When she was a newborn, she had a spell of projectile vomiting. She knocked out a couple tape measure hits.
Her first word: ball (YES!)
