I'm embarrassed that we went to SF and at best we'll leave with a split.
If we get a split I'll be satisfied but that means we HAVE to win tomorrow.  Hanrahan scares me though Bonds should not be in the Giants' lineup.  The Nats are going up against rookie Pat Misch, a lefty who can throw it in the low 90s and has a great curve ball.  From what I saw in his first start, he has really good stuff.  A loss tomorrow would be absolutely horrible and would probably propel us to get swept in Arizona.

Perhaps but I don't trust anything Kasten says. I think Ken has infected me and I now need to see them do something before I take them at their word. I hope I'm wrong about my fears though.
As I said, Ken is used to what ownership used to do with this team back in Montreal...I'm not ready to label the Lerners as cheapskates until I give them a chance.  I too hope you're wrong.  I guess I'm just trying to be optimistic.   :D

We hit like **** tonight.

I figured the Giants would have the hangover - but we did win last night, so who knows.

Get the split tomorrow- that's all I wanted from the series (besides delaying Bonds)

So the security guard ran onto the field to get out of the way of the play!

wonder how many of those fans paid outrageous money for these seats prior to knowing that 756 was hit in yesterdays game.

Can't get too upset with the game tonight.  If our guys don't do sh*t then we don't have to "what-if" it to death.   Tonight is a relief from the last 2 barn-burners.

LOL at Bacsik - maybe he can open at the DC Improv in the offseason.

It would've been hilarious if he had run into Church as Church chased the ball into foul territory (provided Church didn't get hurt in the process).

hey, it happens. we've played above and beyond a good part of this season. games like these need to be expected. losing like this certainly sucks, though. I REALLY can't wait until September.

Far from it.  Typically the Nats squander several opportunities with RISP.  Tonight has been low on those situations.

I could care less about the records or Bonds.  I am pissed because both HRs have given the Giants a lead.  The HR off of Redding was completely bogus and will more than likely cost us the game.  Great, Dmitri is out.  Damn I hate losing games in the first inning.
I just knew it.. Damn first inning losses

Let it be known that I'm only so calm b/c we won't be back in last place with a loss tonight.

I sold quite a few like 3 weeks ago. Sold pretty well, but not as well as I expected. Definitely profited.

We get a taste of it in a couple of days dude, that is, if I read this statement correctly.

Bacsik, Redding, Traber.. We are just steadily tossing career minor leaguers out there
