Holliday moved to the top of the order.

Nats lining up the 3 big lefty hitters in a row at the top of the lineup. In truth, other than maybe Call over Bell, i'm not sure here's a righty on the bench you'd like to see over this lineup. Crews and Yioung are the only righties.

Throughout his career, Gibson has had big platoon  splits, with lefties OPS 788 and .342 wOBA and righties .717 / .311

This has to be the most pitches the Nats have seen in an inning in years

It might be time for some of those players to be playing for their own careers. A supposedly contending team panicking this early is in deep trouble

Its a no stress situation with a 7-0 lead. Easier to reach back and let it rip. Not too worried about control with a big lead. Should build up confidence though. This is a luxury that many Nat starters dream of . Pitch with a lead this season. The Nats seem to score after the 5th or when starters leave,

The Orioles have been terrible this year but they still have more young talent and a brighter future than the Nats.

When Crews BA falls below Bells it is time to send him to Rochester.

I agree they are better right now but the core is coming up for big pay raises to stay and it remains to be seen if a hedge fund manager / gm in control will resign them and sign a number 1 starter for big bucks to lead them for more than a year.
