Voth and Fedde are pretty big indictments of the Nats development staff and the ability of the coaches to translate analytical data into usable information prior to Doo. They knew what they had in Voth with his spin rates, there were articles about it, yet they could not tap it. The Os were able to for a while, but frankly, they have an abundance of riches there. There's a reason that around 2019 the candidates for 5th starter - Ross, Fedde, and Voth - all looked promising. They all had talent that should have filled out some rotation slots after Anibal and others moved on.

Didn't Fedde's ERA go up by like a third in his very last start as a Nat?

I'm watching the Dodgers/Reds game tonight. Blake Treinen came in. His stuff is just filthy. The Dodger announcer were pretty much laughing at the Reds trying to hit him. It was only his 6th inning pitched this year but he's only given up 1 hit and no runs.

Basically became an elite reliever when he left here

Cubs sign Jackson Tetreault

https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/05/cubs-jackson-tetreault-minors-deal.html

Suggests that Cubs might be loaded in the minors with our Card Edwards, Jr, plus Julio Teheran.

Reynaldo Lopez going for Braves tonight - 2-2 ERA 1.75

Erick Fedde going for White Sox tonight - 4-1 ERA 2.80

Blake Treinen so far this season - 5 innings pitched. Given up 1 hit, a home run, ERA - 1.80.

It would seem if you pitch or have pitched for the Nationals your golden.

Vic to sign with the Mariners. They are putting him on the active roster. Will only pay him pro-rated MLB minimum. Likely to start vs. lefties.

Victor dropped a fly ball today.  And then was hit by a pitch. The Robles experience.

Missed the trifecta by not being picked off first...
