Wow. Why would Ohio State run it outside with only like a football length to pick up the first down. Dumb.

Was watching Gameday this morning on ESPN. Every time they panned in on Desmond Howard there was someone with a placard in the background that read “Joe Pa Knew”. Thought that was inappropriate and wondered why the school would let that occur. The bad karma already came and got them tonight. While Penn State cruised. Those who live in glass houses….

An even more bizarre poster on the background had “My Wife Left Me” on one side and then when he flipped it over “My SSN is ..”. Followed by what I hope was a fake number. Probably his roommate’s.

Notre Dame only had 10 players on the field on its last two defensive plays.

Because that show is the possible worst show on TV.   It caters to the meatheads that have never played the game.  Very little real analysis.

I played in college, and it was a platform that was really based on the idea that frat boys knew the game

Been a while since I watched one. Son went to one years ago in Blacksburg. Don’t remember the signs being so crass.

I'm not a fan of either team, but it sure was nice to see the OSU coach's response to Lou Holtz' idiocy.

So much for Deon. Every team is going to do their best to embarrass him because they know he’s going to do a great job of poaching in the transfer portal

I mean, given what that team did last year, they're well ahead of that. Last year they played USC and lost by 38 points

JMU has figured out FBS. Time for them to move to the SEC.

William and Mary offense is horrible without Yoder.

Who wants to win the SEC? Georgia looked awful at Auburn (but eked out a one-score win after trailing most of the game), the rest of the usual SEC contenders all seem to be wildly inconsistent week after week. Florida looked awful against Kentucky after looking awesome against Tennessee.

Coach Prime lost to the best QB prospect in years by only a TD, not sure where this stuff about Deion being done is coming from.

I think we just learned that USC isn’t competing for a national championship with that defense.

Auburn's offense and defense collapsed in that final 3 minutes.

LSU and Ole Miss having a barn burner.

Didn’t see the game.  Did they ever really have a chance?  Seems like USC needs to work on its prevent defame.

I stopped watching early to take my kid to basketball thinking they’d cover. I think USC is in serious trouble with that defense

Championship odds as of this morning:

Quote
Georgia   +225
Michigan   +400
Florida State   +850
Ohio State   +900
Texas   +900
USC   +1600
Penn State   +1600
Washington   +2000
Oregon   +2000
Alabama   +3000
LSU   +4000
Oklahoma   +4000
Notre Dame   +4000
Miami (FL)   +8000
Utah   +12500

I haven't been impressed by a single one of these teams yet this year. Georgia has sleepwalked through almost every game and has nearly lost to multiple bad teams. Michigan hasn't played anyone. Ohio State looks deeply flawed. The SEC this year looks like it's going to eat its own the way the Pac-12 usually does.

This just seems way more open than it usually is. We could see some kind of wacky outcome in the playoffs this year. Oregon and Washington look like good values here if you're going to bet, this might be the year that a prolific Pac-12 offense can make it past SEC defense.

I guess if I was a fan of one of the usual dominant teams I would not be happy. But seems much more fun to me.  Parity.

They’ll be 5–1 after next week instead of 6–0.

Bummer of an ending in Durham last night.
