Two for LaSorsa, the guy who wears genuine baseball socks (or "sox")

And it looks like the Yankees will want to tear it down, rather than being open to trading prospects for Jeimer and Lane.

What a shock it would be that Cashman might hug prospects, come up small at the deadline, and keep his job after more disappointment, no?

:w:

Missed all but 9th on a bike ride. Nice to see the Nats clicking beyond expectations. They have been .500 but for the 1st week of the year and a bad 3-15 stretch in June

Oh, Broom-shaka-laka! This is where N2P would post the broom picks for the sweep.

Four stolen bases from Lane

That was amazing. He and the Nats must have spotted something the Giants pitchers or that catcher was doing. The two steals of 3B were clever, and helpful.

I was wondering why he tried to steal 3B with two outs. It worked but if the guy had held the throw he was out and it would have cost them a run. If only Victor had Lane’s baserunning instincts. Or if he could get on base like Lane.
