I would have gone with Gary Majewski.

Totally forgot about him and the rest of what the Nats sent over.  The name Bill Bray stuck, but I couldn't remember if he came from Washington or if he was a throw-in by Cincy.

I went Marlon Byrd

Edit: After some thought, Pete Rose would have been better.

It's down at the moment. Getting a 429 error message every time I try accessing the page.

I think that means you need to supply the players that hit 429 home runs.

Today's edition is the easiest I've seen yet. Only the 2nd time getting all 9 for me but none were a struggle at all.

Yeah, the stats on today's were kind of proof of that.  Most of the squares had a >80% correct guess rate.

It was easy enough that I went for rarity in most of mine and did pretty well at that.  First time under 100, and maybe the only time unless something equally easy comes up again.

Russell Martin having such a low guess rate for the All Star/LAD square made me feel old.

I had a rarity score of 7 today, my best ever. I like the Saturday ones that are mostly all awards/achievements.

Helped that I watched a lot of 80s/90s Braves.

Today is not too hard but messed up on SF 300 game winner Twice. Then reached back for an oldie for that one and finished with 7 of 9.

Blew it going for rarity. :bang: Assumed Al Kaline would've won an MVP at some point ( Miggy was the obvious answer).

got 7 out of 9. Missed the Phillies who played for detroit and STL.

went with verlander for tiger's MVP and trammell for their silver slugger. Got Steve Garvey for the Dodgers MVP but blew my rarity score with Pujols as the Cards MVP (tried Wainwright first)

I so rarely get all 9 that I rarely go for rarity lol. I happily used Miggy for the MVP (Victor Martinez for silver slugger).

Ahhh I should have had all 9 today but I foolishly put Ted Williams for the 40 HR/3000 Hits square, which I know he doesn't fit for. Just spaced in the moment.

Conversely, today's is one of the hardest I've seen. 20 game winners and a Cy Young winner? I managed 6/9 and was proud of that (Had to plug in Walter Johnson for the Twins 20 game winner).

Went the same route as noble, after trying Jack Morris and finding out it was wrong.

Also assumed Mussina would have had a 20-game winner sometime between '92 and '97, but nope.

The worst was not being able to think of a 20 game winner for the Orioles after using the most obvious choice for another category. One year they had four twenty game winners!  Finally remembered one other and now the others are coming back to me.

It’s great to be old for this game until you find out you can’t remember things.

Today's was bowling shoe ugly.

Frustrating to find out that Frank Thomas never had a 200-hit season for the White Sox but Albert Belle did.

Yeah I only got 4/9 yesterday. I did use Frank Thomas for the White Sox .300 hitter though.
