I believe that is still the case. After the first round it's usually national broadcasters only.

I asked Alan May via Twitter and he confirmed that it will be the same as previous years—both local and national broadcasts during the first round, national only after that. So we get real commentary for a couple of games, anyway.

Should have let the Pinguins in.

Funny how Oshie ended the seasons of not one, but TWO Pennsylvania NHL teams with one shot
Should have let the Pinguins in.

Have a good feeling about the Caps tonight.  Unless the Rangers get the Knicks’ refs.

Also bullish on Colorado.

Well yes it’s the standard we need to make sure the NY advances officiating.

Caps did t have many shots late in the period but they did have a couple of golden chances that failed due to bad passes or the Rags breaking it up. Need to convert those.

Lazy play by Ovie leads to a Shorthanded goal. Special teams killing them.

We can't match their speed...or talent...

They were going toe to toe with them. And then things fell apart.  They had a two on one Shorthanded and then a breakaway when the guy came out of the box.  And didn’t convert. I knew Charlie would turn into a pumpkin also. Just figured it would happen during the season.

Will be interesting to see the comparison of high-danger / quality scoring chances.  Seems like it's been a 5-1 ratio, advantage Rangers...

We played well tonight.   I think we win the next two at home

Welp does not look good.  Set the tee times.

Ovi has a camel ride all lined up...the weather is still pretty moderate in Dubai...

I hope he gets to 895 next year so he can go out in a blaze of glory and start his 2025-2026 farewell tour without any pressure...

Still good to make the playoffs...even bowing out 0-4 in the first round...gives the kids some experience.

Now...we gotta jettison Kuemper in the off season.  The salary cap is going up...eat 2/3rd's of his money and send him packing.  Spend the savings on Chuckie...he's certainly not to blame for this crapshow...

Use the Kuzy savings and what you'll be saving with Patches gone, and find a FA impact centerman somewhere...

Huh?

19 seasons of arguably the first or second greatest goal scorer in NHL history, and just one Stanley Cup.

And no points this year in the playoffs.

A disappointing end for sure, but I went into this season with very low expectations.

Oshie apparently played last night with a broken hand.
