We haven't done a real late-season tear since 2008...let Vegas and their <2% odds eat crap  :P

Moneypuck has them at 9 percent to make the playoffs. 2.6 percent to make the second round.  So things are looking up.  Much better than when they were winning Presidents trophies.

They have turned the corner in spite the shoot out garbage.  Sonny being back is huge.   We need to to exactly what we did at the deadline last season.   Get rid of the dinosaurs, but add another young stud like Sandin

Up to 11.5 percent to make the playoffs!  Still the third oldest teams.  They would be smart to trade Oshie and Carlson but not sure those guys are tradable with their contracts.  And stuck with Kuzy I guess.  They should be tanking to get a top five pick.

Gettin' tired of commercials with Ted's minions trying to convince us that their new arena plan is a good idea.  They should have hired Cindy Crawford as a spokesperson...she may have convinced me...

Leave them alone.  They are old.  Can’t expect them to show up everyday. Don’t know about you but I don’t.

It's a shame that they don't play the Blackhawks until March 9th.  The trade deadline is the 8th.

A loss to the Blackhawks would have been all GMBM would need to know they need to be sellers...if last night wasn't enough as it is.  I'll be at the game on the 9th, so naturally, they'll win.

Even if they make the playoffs...which is quite doubtful...one-and-done is so been-there-done-that for this franchise...

Kuzy on waivers. Not sure anyone would claim him.

i heard the GM basically said they don't expect to make the playoffs and are open to trading for prospects/draft picks. Speculation is that Kuzi goes to Hershey if he clears waivers.

Up to 8 percent to make the playoffs.  Cmon go for it!

https://moneypuck.com/predictions.htm

On a more serious note it’s tough to be a seller nowadays because most of the contending teams have little or no cap space.  So Keumper and Oshie and Carlson are untradeable.  And then you don’t want to trade your young controllable guys.  So you sit tight and hope for some lucky bounces in the lottery. From what I have read there are no generational type talents and after the top five or six, the next 15 or so players are bunched up.  So not much difference picking 10th or 15th.

Kuzy cleared waivers and is being sent to Hershey...cleared to practice.  They should see if anyone will give a bag of pucks for him if we eat his salary.

What a waste...

Can’t read that.

Ted has killed the Caps and Wiz.
Lerners have killed the Nats.
And Danny Boy killed the football team.
What a sports town.

Georgetown basketball is terrible also and Maryland is mediocre.
