What's the hope for Voth here?  3 innings? 4?

Nice gesture by the Phillies bullpen guys to take care of the Nats outfielders.

3 innings is the hope. Once through the order is about what I'd expect.

When stuff like that happened in little league we had to stand out there in the sun.

Yeah, I was thinking 50-ish pitches and not going through the middle of the order a second time.  That caps it at 4 at most, but more likely 7-9 outs.

With VV pitching it was already a guaranteed 4 hour game. The ump injury adds even more time.

I dont think he can go much more. He's conditioned to be a reliever. This will be his longest outing and will need a couple days off to recover

Robles is now tied for third in hbp among mlb hitters. Last year he was 7th and in 2019 he was 2nd.

Bases loaded, no outs, with those who are supposed to be your RBI guys coming up. Let's see what they do.
