Joey Chestnut eats 83 hot dogs in 10 minutes to beat Kobyiashi (who only downed 67).  Chestnut smashed his previous record of 76.

He has to be up there Phelps, Jordan, Biles, and Djokovic as one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Yes. Should have named a hot dog after him rather than a candy bar.

Two and a half hours in and still no fight. I want the freak show, not real undercard fights

It’s a corrupt dying (dead?) sport. Bring on the senior citizen vs the YouTuber

In a surprize decision, John Longmire has quit as Head Coach of the Sydney Swans - his deputy, Dean Cox, will take over (that was expected once Cox declined the opportunity to take over as Head Coach at West Coast).

Before the clock runs out on 2024, let us not forget to honor the brave warriors of 30 years ago on the windswept fields of Pasadena.

It was always goin to be a weird service without NBC and paramount/CBS. Who wants to buy a sports streaming service without the AFC? ESPN launching a direct to consumer possible with the Fox content was always more important for Disney

Yes. Worked out because the only current one just retired. Both Mongolians.

As a Mongolian, we hope he's more Hakuho than Asashoryu... ;)

I’ve only been watching regularly for about four years. So don’t know much about those guys. He’s not as huge as some others so maybe he can avoid the knee injuries that the bigger guys get. That’s what did in Terunofuji.

Hakuho is regarded as the greatest wrestler in the history of Sumo. Asashoryu started with great promise, but was forced to retire after a series of out of the ring transgressions.
