VT was picked 11th out of 12 in the ACC so you may not want to get too excited.
Do you find it interesting that Radford plays for the Hokies and not for Radford.

Yeah. That made the game quite confusing. Radford (the school) couldn’t match Tech’s size/athleticism.

The ACC has 15 teams, not 12, but otherwise you're correct that VPI were picked to finish 11th.

UMBC has a 5’2” point guard.

Update:  Darnell Rogers is the son of Shaunte Rogers who was a good player at GW back in the 1990s.

Radford now 0-3 after dropping last night's game at JMU's new arena.

I have no idea why Mike Jones didn't move on after last season.

staying that extra year seems like it is usually a mistake (for coaches and players)

he's been there ten years. I believe he reupped last year.  They won the regular season title and were heading for the NIT, his best player graduated with a year of eligibility and is now starting at Louisville, and every other player of consequence graduated.  I guess he just likes it there.

I’m sure this has nothing to do with the fact that Duke has a weaker team this year.

Just realized that the DC AG was a pretty good basketball player at Penn in the early 1980s.

Worst coach in the Big Ten and they are likely the worst team in the conference. Mark Turgeon didn't recruit for 2 years and this is the result. Just an absolutely terrible coach and I can't wait for him to be gone.

You sound like an entitled college sports fan. Maryland Basketball has had a good 50 year run. Might be over. You might have to get used to it no matter who the coach is. Nothing lasts forever.

I know folks who are still betting on CCNY's comeback.
