So who’s betting on Elon to come back in the second half?

Nope. Drexel is in.

Hopefully no one here did.  Drexel wins and moves on to The Dance for the first time since Malik Rose was there.

Drexel trivia.  My oldest brother played one year of football at Drexel. Right before they shut down the program. He denied being the reason.

I stayed away from that game.  Took Zags in the 1H, only to see BYU shoot 70% before the break.  Took Zags in 2H.  It won, but was looking hairy for quite a while.

Gonzaga was a different team in the 2nd half. They remind me a lot of Villanova when they cruised through the tournament a few years ago.

Villanova’s complete dismantling of Oklahoma was probably the most dominant performance over a high level opponent on a big stage I had ever seen and will ever see. Germany 7-1 over Brazil is the only thing close in my opinion.

The second quarter of Super Bowl 22 comes to mind

There have been a bunch of SB routs over the years.

35 points in a quarter still comes to mind as far as what I’ve seen

Yes. That was impressive.

The 49ers over the Broncos 55-10 was one I was thinking of and also the Bears dominating the Patriots. 46-10.

It’s tough when you have only consensus top 50 recruits instead of the top ten. Poor Mike. He has really had to coach those bums up this year.

:hysterical:  they are still in a must-win situation to make it to the dance. FSU awaits them next. Louisville is on the bubble.

CBS reporting Duke had to drop out due to a positive COVID test.

I always root for UVA to beat Duke in the championship game because that's the best outcome from my point of view—my undergraduate school beating my law school.

Just saw that, there's no way Duke makes the tournament now. First miss since 1995.

They will have to let them in now since we know they would have won the tourney.  It’s all about the tv ratings.

If UNC wins tonight, which I expect, they will be playing their third game in three nights tomorrow against FSU which will be playing it’s first game. Rust versus exhaustion.
