Irrfan Khan has passed away of a colon infection at age 53. He played the adult recalling his experience in The Life of Pi. He played the sympathetic detective in Slumdog Millionaire, and has been in many Bollywood and Hollywood films.

I highly recommend seeing Blackmail, a 2018 Indian Hindi-language black comedy film. I saw it with English subtitles and Irrfan Khan is the protagonist. There are lots of twists and turns, a great score, and a nice ending. He looked much younger than his actual age.
