A lot of pressure building in the Nats clubhouse while the Astros are flying high. Offense needs to step it up.

I see very little chance of us taking another game. The plate patience we saw is gone. We are swinging through pitches that should have been knocked out of the park. We’re reverting to a mean.

The Astros are so good. To win max needs to have max command. Gotta throw good strikes. Just need to figure out some way to win tonight.

Too many overreactions and hot takes in the media. The Astros are a great team. Great teams punch back. The Nats haven’t forgotten how to hit or have fun, and there shouldn’t be any more pressure now than there was in May.

the astros have hit the ball out of the park in back to back nights, the Nats had some big cuts in those nights and the balls barely carried to the warning track

One positive out of last night was Suero getting Tucker. I said before the start of the Series (maybe at the start of the playoffs) that Suero, for all his faults, has decent numbers vs. lefties. You expect that with his cutter. He may be useful against Brantley, especially if 1st is open.

that is plan A.

I am sort of surprised Davey didn't give Doo and Hudson a bit of work yesterday. They haven't worked in 5 days after a 6 day layoff, and there is an off day tomorrow. They should easily cover 9 outs tonight if necessary
