If Max could throw out of the pen, he would be starting.

After I hit enter, it came to me.    :)

Davey said they stayed away from Ross yesterday because they were worried about Max.

Makes how he handled things yesterday  more understandable.

It’s too bad they didn’t put Voth on the roster instead of one of the relievers. He could pitch 3 innings.

Talk about a "your whole life has led to this" moment.

I was thinking more along the lines of your whole life flashing before your eyes.

I calling. It. Ross pitches 6 great innings. Bats respond as pressure is off. Nats win.

So Ross today, maybe we steal one. Then Strasburg and Scherzer for 6 and 7 with all hands on deck out of the pen.

If we win today, there won't be a Game 7...

Ross Detwiler pitched 6 innings of 1-run ball for us in a 2012 NLDS Game 4 win.

For those who fit in the cross section of "optimist" and "likes random historical anomalies"

Well it was a good run, season.

Also this is why we should have had Voth on the roster, Ross is terrible.

Ross with 6 strong innings, Turner with a HR and 3 RBI. The Souza trade pays off.

Do like the movir Victory, break Rodney's arm and DL him and add Voth to the roster

Well the Nats did better than I expected this year.  A loss in the World Series.  Good job.  See you all in April, it was a fun season.
