GREAT job by Hudson.  Sucks we had to burn him in the 7th though.

We're going to need Rainey to win, no fault in putting him out there, he just came unraveled a bit.

I agree. Rainey's ok, it just wasn't his night. His slider is normally great, but the astros weren't biting like they were vs Corbin. Now it's Hudson for the 8th and Doolittle for the 9th!

Got to seriously think about going to Sánchez.  I’m not sure I trust Doolittle against this lineup if it isn’t a lefty.

At the very least, don’t just have Doolittle and no one else warm whatsoever. You cannot give this one away

There were at least 2-3 sliders that could have/should have been called strikes and changed a couple ABs.

Hudson back out for the eighth and Doo when he's done.

Yep. They split three innings (or maybe 2 2/3) earlier in the post season I believe.  Was that in one of the Dodgers games?

Yea I wonder if this being in his hometown isn’t working against him.

Yes. He’ll get it together before this is all done.

You think Huddy's getting five outs?

I think his bullpen management has improved quite a bit this season.

He eliminated 1/2 the bullpen.

Maybe.  I would never guess that he would be pressing, even in the World Series.  But maybe he has a lot of folks in the stands since he went to Rice and he wants to impress them.

As long as he keeps his head in the game on the field; hoping the rest comes around
