He eliminated 1/2 the bullpen.

I'm not referring to the talent level, I'm talking about how to deploy the talent he's got.

EDIT:  I think you meant that avoiding the bums is a key part of his management, in the playoffs I agree with that.

First WS. Understandable.

Sure sure, just looks extra strange next to Soto's now-studious approach.

Nolan Ryan does not look pleased behind the plate.

Maybe.  I would never guess that he would be pressing, even in the World Series.  But maybe he has a lot of folks in the stands since he went to Rice and he wants to impress them.

Sometime the "coolest" cat tries too hard to be cool.

Well Soto looked overmatched in his first AB...

He uses the same 3 or 4 guys.    Not much managin' there.    But movin' forward   ...    :)    We're on the same page.

I get it. Tony got us here with his play in the post season so far so I’m willing to give him a pass on this one.

Plus, I’m secretly his mom, so....

Hudson and Doolittle each going 4 outs seems reasonable if it goes as planned.

Hudson and Doolittle.  Maybe Doolittle comes in with 1 or 2 outs in the 8th.
