Dodgers would seem to be the most likely at this point given their financial resources, but I wouldn't be surprised if a team like the Rocks got involved at some point. The Monforts have deep pockets and Coors is a launching pad especially for lefties. Familiarity with Desi being there and the fact that their RF slot is open and as it is they won over 90 games last year. Rocks could see it as an opportunity to one-up the Dodgers and attempt to become favorites in the NLW.

If I were Harper, that Rockies option would sound good to me. That team needs a major signing like Bryce would be. Compared to a Philly or LA, not so much pressure on him either.

The pressure is going to be there where ever he goes, less national attention in Denver he'd still be under a microscope locally.

I curious what he'd do if his wife and agent disagree. What if Philly offers the highest salary but LA offers warm weather and Hollywood glamor? Harper has never been one to let others make decisions for him but he could be being pulled in very different directions.

Passan says the dodgers are now at $180m. Sherman says they are still reluctant to offer Harper a long term deal.

Also still possible that the Dodgers sign pollock or trade for realmuto.
